Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy anything from Dr J Streams LLC, whether that is sealed product, a seat in a live break, merch, or a codex build.

Who we are

Dr J Streams LLC. We run Dr J's Magic Lab, our Magic: The Gathering rip broadcast; Dr J's Open Vault, the rip broadcast for everything else; Dr J's Fugitive Breaks, our live card break broadcast; and Dr J's Portal Academy. We sell sealed product, singles and merch through Treasures on this site. Contact: support@drjstreams.com.

Orders and pricing

Prices are shown in United States dollars and exclude shipping, which is added at checkout. Prices and stock can change at any time before you place an order.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when payment clears and we send you a confirmation. If something is priced or listed in obvious error, or is out of stock by the time we get to it, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.

Stock counts shown on the site are live. When you start checkout, the items in your cart are held for you for a short period. If you do not complete payment in that time, they go back on sale.

Fugitive Breaks

A break seat entitles you to the cards pulled to your slot in that specific break, as described on the break page. It does not entitle you to any particular card or to any particular value. Sealed product is random, and that is the point of it.

On rips, where spots are bought live during the stream, paid seats are called before seats claimed with Broadcast Credit. This is published in advance and applied without exception.

If a break cannot go ahead, every seat is refunded in full. If a break is postponed, you may keep your seat for the new date or take a refund.

Refund timing for seats is covered in the Shipping and Returns policy. In short: refundable until the rip starts, not after.

Codex builds

Codex builds are quoted individually. A quote sets out the price and what it covers, and it is valid until the date shown on it. Nothing is owed until you accept a quote and pay.

A build is our professional opinion for the brief you gave us. We do not guarantee any tournament result, any win rate, or that a list will remain legal if a format's rules change after delivery.

Broadcast Credit

Broadcast Credit is store credit granted through a Patreon membership. It can be spent on anything we sell, across any of our channels, including codex builds. It has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and does not roll over: it resets on your billing date.

Where both apply, your tier discount comes off the price first, then credit comes off what is left, then you pay the balance.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. By paying you also accept Stripe's terms as the processor.

Chargebacks

If something is wrong with an order, contact us first. We would far rather fix it. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may result in us declining future orders.

Conduct

We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund it, if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, is being resold in breach of these terms, or comes from someone who has been removed from our community for abusive behaviour.

Member to member trading

We are not a party to any transaction between members of our community, on Discord or anywhere else. If you deal with another member privately, you do so at your own risk.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Trademarks

Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Dr J Streams LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. All product names and card images belong to their respective owners.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the version published when you placed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Dr J Streams LLC is registered, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of that state.
